GIT Visit Ha Long Pearl Farm, Studying Advanced Pearl Production Technologies

On March 14, 2025, Mrs. Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, Chairperson of the Board, led the institute’s board members on a visit to Ha Long Pearl Farm in Ha Long, Vietnam. This farm is one of the world’s leading pearl cultivation centers, producing a variety of pearl species, including Akoya, Tahiti, and South Sea pearls. The farm has an impressive production capacity of up to 10 million pearls per year. During the visit, the board members observed a live demonstration of the pearl cultivation process and explored advanced innovations and technologies used in pearl production. These cutting-edge techniques play a crucial role in strengthening the global pearl industry.
