GIT and AGA Outline 2025 Strategy to Enhance Global Gemstone Quality and Consumer Trust

Mr. Sumed Prosongpongchai, Director General of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) and President of the Asia-Pacific Gemstone and Technology Standardization Alliance (AGA) set the 2025 AGA Action Plan meeting. The meeting aimed to set milestones, direction, and activities to achieve the global recognition for gemstone quality standard among AGA members. This initiative will greatly enhance trust and confidence for the gem and jewelry trade and also create more reliable market for consumers.
