The first Mutual Recognition Arrangement in the gemstone industry was signed by two organizations (The Gem and  Jewelry Institute of Thailand and The Gemological Association of Hong Kong), acknowledging the use of inspection standards for jointly recognizing FeiCui and Corundum certifications. This remarks is the beginning of the comparable process of the alignment of international industry standards for the global gemstone industry at  Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2 Mach 2024
