Mr. Sumed Prasoongsongchai, Director of The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand, co-signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation between the Thai and Sri Lankan Gem and Jewelry Institutes. The signing ceremony was witnessed by H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, and other dignitaries. The MOU was signed during the Prime Minister's official visit to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on February 3, 2024.
